Sattler concentrated on organically farming Zweigelt and St. Laurent on the rolling gravely hills south-west of Lake Neusiedl. All ferments are spontaneous and in a mixture of stainless steel and large, neutral cask. Burgenland gets warm enough to ripen St. Laurent, which is an offspring of Pinot Noir. Enjoy dark cherry fruit with a hint of spice and a light structure.
