Partial maturation in barrels lends power to this finesse and fruit-forward Chardonnay. Its subtle bouquet offers up a floral character and hints of fresh butter. The palate is simultaneously round and fresh.  Domaine Tariquet, located in Gascony in the South West of France, has been owned by the Grassa family since 1912. Their wines are all estate grown.  If the Tariquet name sounds familiar, they are also a respected Armagnac producer.   The Grassa family manages their vineyards sustainably. You will find it to be easy-drinking, since it is not too high in alcohol, at 11.5%.
