The historic Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España was founded in 1879 and remains family owned, on their 5th generation now. Cune Crianza has been produced every year since the company was founded. It is comprised of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Garnacha and Mazuelo. To qualify for the Crianza designation, this wine ages 1 year in French and American oak, with a further 6 months resting in bottle. You will find lively red fruits accented by vanilla, leather, and dill. This moderately structured wine has an elevated acidity and fine tannins.
